Sean grew up under the nurturing care of his mother, Conner Houston, and his father, Randy Houston. He is survived by his siblings, Tony Smith and his wife Carrie, lil David Smith and his wife Jeri, and Holly Durant and her husband David. Sean was a loving and devoted father to his daughters, Madison Taylor and her husband Landon, Graycee Helmert, and Cheyla Hill and her husband, Justen. The joy of his later years was being Aisleyy Raighan's G-Paw, who was the apple of his eye. Along with his Texas grandma Wendy Keen. He will be missed by numerous other family and friends.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kim Wilket-Smith, Sean was also preceded in passing by his father David, brother Eric Smith, his grandparents Tony and Bonnie Carrillo, Sam Williams, Dalton Smith, and Mickey Keen, keeping the memory of their spirits alive in his heart throughout his life.
Sean's journey through life was marked by an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community. His ability to fix anything with his hands was only surpassed by his capacity to mend hearts with his warmth and generosity. Sean was the kind of man who would drop everything to help a friend in need, a neighbor with a tricky home repair, or a stranger with a flat tire on the side of the road.
Professionally, Sean was as reliable and steadfast as he was in his personal life. His colleagues knew him as a man who brought not just his skills but also his heart to every project. His laughter and stories brightened many workdays, and his absence will be deeply felt in the workplace. Sean was not only a talented artist who expressed his vibrant vision through his work as a tattoo artist, but he was also a cherished confidant, consistently proving himself to be a great friend to many.
His journey through rehabilitation was inspiring, leading him to a path where he could support and counsel others facing similar trials. Sean's legacy is one of courage, transformation, and the enduring power of friendship. He will be profoundly missed, forever remembered, and continuously celebrated for the impact he made in the lives of those around him. He was a great big brother and protector to Tony and Holly.
The void left by Sean's departure will be felt most acutely in the everyday moments - the family dinners he loved to host, the fishing trips where he taught life's subtle lessons, and the quiet evenings spent on the porch swing, reflecting on the day with loved ones. Sean was saved and received Christ as his lord and savior.
Sean Conner Smith's life was a testament to the power of kindness, the strength of family bonds, and the lasting impact of a life lived with purpose and love. As we say our earthly goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. Sean's memory will be forever cherished and his life's story told with fondness and pride by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
