Sebastian Cabot Leith II, 39, of Beaumont entered heaven Saturday, August 12, 2023. He was born October 14, 1983, in
Lake Charles, Louisiana to Lizabeth Gail Perkins and Sebastian Cabot Leith.
From an early age, his family gave him the nickname "Bandsome." Growing up he played sports excelling in track and field, baseball, and basketball. He attended schools in Georgia and Oklahoma before finishing high school at Palo Verde High in Las Vegas, NV.
Over the last 14 years, Sebastian worked for numerous contractors in the Southeast Texas area as an instrument fitter and then as an instrument technician. He worked from the bottom up securing multiple NCCER Certifications. For the past 2 years, he was currently employed with Lion Elastomers in Orange as a Senior E & I Technician. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, ability to fix anything and being extremely mechanically inclined.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family. As a dad, he was silly in nature coming up with random nicknames for Harper and Bash. He could spend hours on the phone with his dad Chebby, talking about life and their love of cars. He adored and respected his mother Liz and the two of them together was always a crazy good time. The special bond that he shared with his siblings was unlike any other. His best friends and hangout buddies were his brother Adam and his brother-in laws Josh and Gavin.
Sebastian met his wife April in December of 2009 and together they built a beautiful life. They welcomed their daughter Harper in 2012 and their son Sebastian III in 2015. Sebastian's main focus was providing for his family so that April could be a stay-at-home mom to her babies. They loved cooking together, doing projects to improve their home, and talking for hours about their goals and dreams for the future.
Listening to music was his therapy after a long day at work. He also loved LSU Tiger Football, UFC Fights, working on cars, singing karaoke, watching Harper play soccer, and throwing the baseball in the backyard with Bash.
Bandsome was smart, strong, forgiving, generous, hardworking, competitive and completely hilarious at times. His absence will be felt for years to come, and we will miss him tremendously.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 13 years, April Sedtal of Beaumont; children, Harper Arabella Leith and Sebastian Cabot Leith III; mother, Liz Smith and her husband Randy, of Vidor; siblings, Sophia Bouey and her husband Gavin, of Vidor; Amanda Leith of Vidor; Adam Leith and his wife, Leah, of Arlington; Alexis Guest and her husband Josh, of Evadale; neices and nephews; Fred Fontenot, Keith Leith, Katelynn Lewis, Breeanna Lewis, Hayden Bouey, and Abigail Bouey; all of Vidor. Along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Bandsome is preceded in death by his father, Sebastian "Chebby" Leith, grandparents Bill and Maria Leith, Barbara Manuel, Billy Perkins, and nephew Maddox Leith.
Pallbearers will be Adam Leith, Josh Guest, Gavin Bouey, Keith Leith, Jared Farque, and Josh Parker.
A gathering of Sebastian's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday August 18 at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
