Sebastiana Quadarella, 88, of Middletown, died peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, July 18th. She was born on November 2nd, 1935 in Melilli, Sicily to the late Natalie and Rose Marchese. She was a dedicated housewife and stay at home mom. Family was everything to her, she was the heart and soul of our family. She spent the last 6 years mourning the loss of the love of her life, Sal, who she was married to for 62 years. They truly were soulmates and are now reunited. She was the greatest mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. She always put all of us before herself. Words cannot express the hole that is forever left in our hearts. She is survived by her loving children Carl Quadarella and his wife Ellen. Nella Tipton and her partner Daniel Forline. Her most treasured grandchildren Salvatore Quadarella, Jessica Sennick and her husband Chris. Christopher Tipton and Lisa Tipton, and her partner Matthew Genovesio. She is also survived by her sister Maria Dimauro and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John Marchese, sisters Carmelina Barone and Lucia Dimauro.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Tuesday, July 23rd at D'Angelo's funeral home at 22 South Main Street in Middletown followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Sebastian's Church, Washington street in Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning, from 9-10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the family plot in Saint Sebastian's Cemetery.
