Selena Faye Harris

Mrs. Selena Minor Harris was born in Alamance County, NC on October 7, 1958, to Mr. James Samuel Minor, Sr., and Mrs. Peggy Foust Minor, she answered the call of the Lord to come unto him on March 27, 2025, while being cared for at the Authora Care Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell in Burlington, NC.
Selena was married to the love of her life, Deacon Curtis Lee Harris and together they shared many wonderful years. She was employed with NC Mutual Life Ins. Company in Durham, NC for 35 years where she brought a smile to the faces of her co-workers and the many people, she was able to help. She enjoyed worshiping and praising God as a member of St. Luke Christian Church in Mebane, NC, there she served as a trustee, finance committee member, choir member, kitchen committee worker and as a member of the Women's fellowship. Selena showed love through her faith to everyone she would meet.
Her life and now her legacy will be forever cherished by her husband, Curtis Harris, sister, Sharon Minor Tyner and brother, James Samuel Minor, Jr. (Gwen), Aunt Eula Mae Coble, Uncle Thomas "Bud" Marsh, Jr. (Vera), in-laws, Fred Harris (Vanessa), Aaron Harris (Lisa), Karo Jean Lea, Susan Ann Harris, and Vanessa Gail Harris along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear relatives and friends.
Selena was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Darrell Gerard Minor.
