Selene Kay Harshfield, 59, beloved mother, wife, sister and daughter, peacefully entered heaven’s embrace on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, with loved ones by her side. Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on September 20th, 1965, to Gary Lee Johnson and Judith Ann Konantz.
Selene was a force to be reckoned with and those who had the pleasure of knowing her knew the joy of her infectious personality and fierce love. Affectionately known as Binky and Pooh bear, she was completely devoted to her family, especially her three surviving sons Kaine, Kyle and Keith. Her grace, unwavering friendship, compassion and strength will continue to live on through the hearts of all those she touched and held dearly.
She was welcomed into eternity by her Father Gary Lee Johnson and sister Konni Lee Havens. Her sons along with survivors Daryl Harshfield, Derek Jensen, Mother Judith Johnson, all her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews will miss her endlessly but know she will continue to look down upon them. A memoriam of life is in development and will be announced when details are finalized.
