Semore Ladson Jr.

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Semore Ladson Jr., who gently departed this life on Friday, October 31st, 2025, in Atlanta, GA. Semore was born on November 1st, 1950, in Columbia, SC, where he began a life marked by kindness, dedication, and love for his family and community.
A proud graduate of USC, Semore built a career as a respected truck driver and later became the backbone of his own business, Ladson Transportation Services. His work ethic and dedication to his craft were unmatched, serving as an inspiration to all who knew him.
Semore was a man of deep faith and was an active member of his church community. He found joy and purpose in serving others and was known for his warm smile and generous spirit.
Friends and family are invited to honor Semore's life at a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 3:00 pm, followed by visitation from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Both will take place at Rainbow Park Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia.
