Serafina Alice Hedrick

Serafina Alice (Caldwell) Hedrick, the daughter of the late Rita Caldwell, was born August 11, 1953, in Bernalillo, New Mexico. She passed away October 29, 2025, in Viburnum, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years.
Serafina was a social butterfly; she loved to sit and visit with others. She was a hoot to be around, and you never knew what she was going to say. She enjoyed sitting on the porch, smoking her cigarettes, and watching the hummingbirds. She liked to take walks, sing, and dance. When she wasn't out and about, she was putting together a puzzle, reading a book, or watching John Wayne Westerns.
Serafina was a lady of faith which was evident to those around her. She enjoyed attending Danny Ray Chappell Ministries when she was able.
Serafina is survived by her loving Viburnum Apartment Family, Stonecrest Healthcare Caregivers, and her friends in the Viburnum Community.
Preceding her in death was her husband Dorman Chandler who she shared many fond memories with until his passing July 22, 1999.
Serafina was a precious gem. Her sweet spirit and kind nature will continue to live on in the lives she has touched along her journey here on earth. Her memory will be a blessing to all. She will be forever missed.
Funeral Services for Serafina Alice (Caldwell) Chandler Hedrick were held Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Viburnum Chapel with Rev. Danny Chappell officiating. Burial was in the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Viburnum, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Serafina Hedrick to Stonecrest Healthcare for the Activities Department. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
