Seth "Zach" Andres
July 11, 2001 – July 9, 2025
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Seth "Zach" Andres, who left this world just two days before his 24th birthday, on July 9, 2025, in High Island, Texas.
Zach was a 2019 graduate of High Island High School and a proud member of the First Baptist Church. He was known for his unforgettable smile, big heart, and sincere kindness - a friend to all, and a light to many.
He worked in the Hardware Department at The Big Store in Crystal Beach, where his helpful nature and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.
Zach was happiest outdoors - fishing, hunting, or riding his 4-wheeler, often pulling anything he could attach to it. He also enjoyed video games and time spent with friends and family. But above all, Zach found his greatest purpose and pride in being a loving father.
He is survived by his beloved children, Oaklynn Andres and Talynn Andres, and their mother Lila Good; his mother Angie Andres and stepfather Thomas Andres; his siblings Danielle Perea (Tony), Gilbert Andres (Katie), Konner Andres (Lorelai), and Trinity Andres; his grandmother Marjorie McAlpin; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Zach will be remembered for his warm soul, his loyalty, and the joy he brought into every life he touched. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Zach's life will be announced soon. Please join us in honoring his memory through shared stories, love, and the kindness he showed us all.
Rest easy, Zach. Forever loved. Forever missed.
A Prayer for Zach
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the life of Zach, for the joy he brought into our lives, and for the love he so freely gave. We ask that You welcome him into Your eternal peace and comfort those who grieve his loss.
Wrap his children, family, and friends in Your loving embrace. May they find strength in Your presence and hope in the promise of everlasting life. Help us to honor Zach's memory by living with kindness, faith, and love, just as he did.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Zach's cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie.
