Obituary Shad Wilson Gohr
Shad Wilson Gohr, 41, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Shad was born August 19, 1983 in Rexburg, Idaho, to Douglas Kent Gohr and Karen Lee Pate.
Shad spent his lifetime in Blackfoot. He attended Irving Kindergarten, Groveland Elementary, Mountain View Middle School, and graduated from Blackfoot High School with the class of 2003.
He married Samantha Roberts. To this union, two children were born; they later divorced.
Shad worked at Spudnik and Basic American Foods. He also delivered for Amazon and DoorDash.
Shad was a member of the Snake River Bass Club and the USCB Bowling Association. He has been bowling since the age of 5 at Pindale Lanes and Tough Guy Lanes. He participated in both bowling and fishing tournaments all over Idaho, Washington, Utah and Nevada and enjoyed these travels with family and friends. He loved bowling and bass fishing with his kids. He also loved barbecuing at Karen's house.
Shad is survived by his children, Spencer Gohr and Sequoia Marie Gohr of Blackfoot; his parents, Gary and Karen Keith of Blackfoot; his father, Douglas Gohr; siblings Shawn Nash of Ririe ID, Angela (Stephen) Lippello of Pocatello ID and step brother Chris (Brooke) Keith of Caldwell ID; grandmothers Joyce Gohr of Idaho Falls and Jean Keith of Eagle ID; and nieces Saige, Jacklyn, Sofia, Bailey and Avery.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sheridan Gohr; grandparents, Jack Gohr, Ed Pate, Alice Pate; aunt Carol Gohr and uncle Dwight Gohr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at the funeral home and again for one hour prior to the service.
