It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shane Paul Bailey, who left us on October 27, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on September 1, 1982, in Morgan City, LA. Shane was a devoted husband, loving father, son, and brother who will be missed dearly.
Shane was a lifelong resident of Stephensville. An avid outdoorsman, Shane loved to hunt and fish, often sharing these passions with family and friends. With a creative touch, he also enjoyed woodworking and crafting pieces that will be treasured for years to come. Above all, Shane had an immense love for children. His playful spirit and joyful heart were a source of happiness to many little ones, especially his own, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Kaci Baio Bailey; parents, Michael Bailey Sr. and Evelyn “Gail” Fuselier Bailey; four children, Olivia (Mitchel), Audrey, Joylyn and Jonah; brother, Michael Bailey Jr. and wife Kallie; father-in-law, Michael Baio, mother-in-law, Susan Foret; two sisters-in-law, Toni Knight (Travis) and Meagan Blanchard (Shawn); godchildren, Emily Bailey and Eliana Sweeney; five nieces and nephews, Hannah Sweeney (Stephen), Joshua and Connor Blanchard, Jackson and Ruth Knight; three great nieces and nephews, Lucy, Adaline, and Benjamin. Shane will also be missed by numerous other family members and friends.
Shane was preceded in death by their sweet angel baby; paternal grandparents, Victor and Audrey Bailey; maternal grandparents, J.B and Bernadette Fuselier; uncles, J.B Fuselier, Dudley Michel, Laurie Bailey Sr.; aunt, Genevie Broussard.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bailey Jr., Brent Acosta, Mitchel Lemoine, Thomas “T-Tom” Gros, Travis Knight, Shawn Blanchard, Joshua Blanchard, Patrick “Pat” Cormier, Demetrio “P-Nut” Gutierrez Jr., and Jason May. Honorary pallbearer and best friend, Shelby Daigle Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home with Brother Tommy Fromenthal and Brother Herb Stanley officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Shane will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
