Shane A. Bechtold Sr.

Shane A. Bechtold, Sr., 60, passed away at his West Hempfield Township home on Monday, December 25, 2023 unexpectedly of natural causes. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry P. Sr. and Dorothy Nein Bechtold.
Shane was employed for many years at his father's business, Colebrook Supply. He also did lawn care work and was previously employed by the former Lancaster Press. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
He is survived by his children, Shane A. Bechtold, Jr. (Jessica); Brianne Bechtold; Marissa Scholl (Adam); grandkids, Julia, Kole, Taylor, Hayes; brothers, Greg Bechtold (Penny); Harry P. Bechtold, Jr. (Carol); sisters, Kimberly Britcher (Ken) and Ronet Buzzendore (Mark). His brother Jeffrey Bechtold preceded him in death.
