Shane Michael Foley, 47, of Roanoke, Texas, passed away unexpectedly in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday, June 29, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Born on July 18, 1977, in Euless, Texas, Shane was the son of Gary Foley and Myra Stribling Foley. He spent most of his early life in Midland, Texas, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1995 and attending Midland College. Shane built a successful career in the mortgage industry, working for over 20 years, most recently with Guaranteed Rate.
Shane was a man full of life and passion. He loved all things fast and loud—boats, lakes, fishing, cars, and music. His free spirit and big personality made him unforgettable to everyone he met. His heart was huge, and he was always quick to offer help, share a laugh, or tell a story.
In 2005, Shane married Alicia Minica, and together they welcomed two children: Paige Elizabeth Foley and Kade Michael Foley. In 2022, he married his childhood friend and middle school sweetheart, Allison Dunaway. Reflecting on their love, Shane once said, “It took me 30 years to get the girl that got away, and I got another son as a bonus.” With Allison, Shane gained a stepson, Reece Hurlock, and a renewed sense of joy and family.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Gary Foley; his mother, Myra Johnson; his brother, Steven McClure; and his beloved dog, Tucker.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Foley; his daughter, Paige Foley; his sons, Kade Foley and Reece Hurlock; his father, Darrel Johnson; his brother, Christopher McClure (Rebecca); and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind his loyal pets Jesse, Toby, and his cat Wasabi, who will miss him dearly.
Those who knew Shane will remember him for his generous spirit, his deep love for his family and friends, and the way he lit up every room he entered. He was a devoted dad, a loving husband, and a friend who made life more vibrant.
A celebration of Shane’s life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053.
