Robert F. "Bob" Foley

Robert F Foley in Plymouth, formerly of South Boston, passed away on February 14, 2026. He was born in South Boston on March 24, 1946, to the late John J. And Mary (Hanlon) Foley. Beloved husband of the late Lois Ann (Potts) Foley. Cherished brother of Jack Foley and his wife Sara of Cohasset. Uncle of John Foley and his wife Amber of Mashpee and the late Michael R Foley. Great uncle of Dylan, Madison, Jack Jr., Porter, Everett and Griffin.

Bob worked for Stone and Webster and was an engineer during the construction of the big dig. His work had him living in several places including China, So. Carolina and Texas. Bob loved history, antiques and shopping.

Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester Street South Boston on Friday February 20th from 11:30am-12:30 pm. Followed by Funeral Service at 12:30. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery Dorchester.
