Marian Constance Boudreau was born in
Plymouth, Massachusetts, on February 8, 1940, the daughter of Anne and Adelmo Benassi. She passed away on February 15, 2026, in Plymouth, surrounded by her loving husband and children.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of over 64 years, Babe (Donald). She was a devoted mother to her three children: Donald (Mike) and his wife Laura, Scott and his wife Cathy, and Karen and her husband Mike, all of
Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Marian was a loving grandmother to Dana and his wife Kathleen, Corey and his fiancée Cassandra, Ryan and his wife Shayna, Aydan and his wife Marcelle, Eric and his wife Jenn, Jacquelyn and her husband Tim, Mike and his wife Chelsea, and was blessed with eleven great-grandchildren.
Marian was deeply devoted to her family, lovingly raising her three children and helping to raise her grandchildren. She was equally devoted to her community and to helping others. Marian was a member of the Fragment Society and supported underprivileged children in New York City and overseas. She also volunteered her time teaching English through the Plymouth Public Library's English as a Second Language program, helping community members build better lives through learning.
Marian dedicated many years of her life to the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth, serving as its President for over ten years. The Club has served the youth of Plymouth and surrounding communities since 1911, and under Marian's leadership, it was transformed from a small downtown club into the state-of-the-art 17,000-square-foot facility it is today. Her vision and commitment continue to positively impact generations of local children and families.
Marian was always willing to help others in need, no matter who you were. Take her on a vacation, and you were sure to meet new people - her smile, friendliness, and loving personality naturally drew others to her, bringing new experiences and friendships each time. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, raising her three children in the community where she herself was raised, surrounded by family and lifelong friends. She opened her door and her heart to all in need - family, friends, and even those she had just met.
Even in her final years at Newfield House, Marian continued to brighten the days of those around her, bringing smiles, warmth, and kindness to many. Marian and Babe showed everyone what true love looks like - through his unwavering devotion to her, and through the way she missed him whenever he was late.
Marian will be remembered for her boundless generosity, her welcoming heart, and a life lived in service to family, community, and love.
A period of visitation will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, Plymouth.
