Shane Hyde

Michael Shane Hyde, 55 of Blountsville passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his residence. Shane was born June 19, 1970, the son of Ned Wayne Hyde and Linda Sue Thomas Hyde. He was a graduate of J.B. Pennington High School, Class of 1988 and a college graduate receiving a bachelor's degree. He served our country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged for his service and dedication. He retired from working in the banking/financial industry. He is survived by his father: Ned W. Hyde; sisters: Wendi Carden (Rowdy) and Daphne Miller (Dan); nieces and nephews: Clint Watson, Garrett Watson, Lilli Watson and Gibby Miller. He was preceded in death by his mother: Linda Hyde. The family has chosen cremation with no formal service. He will be laid to rest at the South Cemetery. Blountsville Funeral Home assisted the Hyde family with cremation arrangements.
