Shane was self-employed as a roofer for most of his working career. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and skating, and enjoyed making people laugh. Shane will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Alongside his parents, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Arianna McCaughey of Johnston, Nevaeh McCaughey of Cranston, and Brianna McCaughey of Cranston and his brother, Jason McCaughey of North Providence.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 1:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00PM-1:00PM.
Immediately following the Funeral Service, relatives and friends are encouraged to continue the Celebration of Shane's Life at 2:00PM at the Oakland Beach Fireman's Club, 645 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick.
