Shane Zachary Stewart of Selma, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma at the age of 37.

He was born in Selma, Alabama on April 21, 1987 to the late Ronald "Ron" Stewart and Linda Meyer Stewart. 

He was a former construction worker.

Shane is survived by his mother, Linda Stewart; siblings, Tara Stewart, Brandon Stewart, and Brent (Ashley) Stewart; nephews and niece, Landon Stewart, Owen Stewart, Carson Stewart, and Elowen Stewart; aunts, Debra Manges and Lisa Hanna; uncles; John (Stephanie) meyer and Paul Meyer; and cousins, Logan (LaDawn) Hanna, Dakota Hanna, Hayley (David) Hanna, Scott (Vicki) Manges, and Jake Meyer.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ron Stewart; grandparents, Jack and Jeanne Meyer; and cousin, Michael Manges. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Houston Park Church of Christ in Selma with Minister Van Sprague officiating.

Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Ben Hogue, John Meyer, Paul Meyer, Scott Manges, Jimmy Morrow, Andrew Allen, Ronnie Andrews, and Ken Nichols. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Houston Park Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Houston Park Church of Christ.
