Shane Colin Stoughton was born to Linda (O'Leary) Stoughton and Robert Stoughton in Newberg, Oregon on November 25, 1989 and passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Shane remained there through high school then moved to Florida in 2007. Later he welcomed his daughter, Breiah. He took a chance after meeting a woman in a Facebook group and booked a one way flight to Montana in 2019 to meet the love of his life, Mariah (Rogers) Stoughton. Later, they were wed on July 23rd, 2023. He will forever be the best thing she has found on the internet.
Quickly adjusting to Montana life, he found himself hiking, hunting, and enjoying wild game meat. The mountains were truly his happy place. Shane is known for his sense of humor, impeccable meme stash, for being a good friend, and always striving to be a good person. Although taken from us suddenly, he will be greatly missed by his coworkers, family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother in law, Jill rogers, Aunt Pam, Aunt Micki, Aunt Sue, Uncle Bud, and niece Nahla.
1705 West Broadway, Missoula, MT 59808
