Shane Thomas Sutton, age 52, a resident of Grandview, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Cumberland Medical Center, Crossville, Tennessee. He graduated from Michael Dunn and enjoyed competing in Special Olympics, especially in Track, Bowling, and Swimming. He also worked at the Roane County Recycling Center for several years. Shane enjoyed music (especially 1980’s and 1990’s Country), old T.V. shows (especially The Dukes of Hazzard), and The General Lee car. Shane was a very loving and caring individual who never met a stranger and always made everyone he was around happy. He loved his family very much and was the center of it. He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Sutton; biological father, Vick Sutton; grandparents, Henry & Mertie Givens; and aunt, Darlene Neal.
Survivors include:
Parents: Selma & Sam Capps of Grandview, TN
Brother: Greg Capps (LeAnn) of Rockwood, TN
Sister: Samantha Capps (fiancé, David Allison) of Maryville, TN
And a host of Special Nieces and Nephew, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins, Other Relatives and Friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Ronnie Stockton officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is serving the family of Shane Thomas Sutton.
