Shani Perry Abovitz

Shani Perry Abovitz was surrounded by his family who loves him when he passed away peacefully on the morning of September 12, 2021. Shani was an incredible son, brother, and uncle. He was very modest, soft spoken, and an intelligent lover of all things Jewish. Shani also enjoyed mathematics, science, physics, chess and fintech. He was a foodie and a collector, with a brilliant and inquisitive mind. He was strong and brave and overcame many challenges and adversities. As a child he was an incredible athlete, actor, director, video gamer, top student and great friend to all. He graduated Salutatorian from Nova High School, and was one of the top math students in the State of Florida. He went on to receive an advanced Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Florida. He leaves behind his loving Mother, Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, Cousins and extended family. He loved all animals including his beloved dog ChuChu. Shani will be deeply missed.
