In Loving Memory of Shania Victoria Trujillo Sunrise: December 3, 1998 – Sunset: March 17, 2026

Shania Victoria Trujillo passed away on March 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Trujillo; her brother, Gabriel Martinez; and her close uncles, Angelo and Darren Lopez.

Shania’s greatest Love and joy in life was her daughter, Malory. They picked bugs together, enjoyed the zoo, and the rides at Cliffs, swimming, and shopping while sipping on Starbucks drinks. She had a passion for reading, a deep love for music and crime podcasts, and a curiosity for the culinary arts, always eager to try new and different foods. She enjoyed traveling, embracing new experiences, and found peace in journaling.

Her newfound faith was an important part of her life. Shania shared her love for the Lord by hosting Bible studies, a calling she embraced under the guidance of her mentor, Travis. Through her faith, she brought comfort, encouragement, and light to those around her.

In her youth, Shania was active and spirited, participating in sports such as basketball and baseball, and proudly serving as a varsity cheerleader. She was known for her friendly nature, her vibrant personality, and her unforgettable sense of humor—sometimes a little “dingy,” but always full of life and laughter. Her beautiful curly black hair and natural confidence were part of what made her so radiant. Alongside her brother Gabriel, she often joked with their mother, reminding her how lucky she was to have such beautiful children—moments that will now be cherished forever.

Shania is survived by her beloved daughter, Malory Medina, who was the greatest love and light of her life. She is also survived by her mother, Esther Manzanares; her grandparents, Shirley Manzanares (Miguel), Frankie Manzanares (Carolyn), and Rosina Trujillo; her uncles, Edward, Carlo, Greg (Erica), Michael (Clarita), and Ronald; and her aunts, Amanda, Shelly (Jerry), Angela (Manuel), Jennifer, and Denise. She will be deeply missed by her special friends Antonique, Brianna, and Francisco, as well as many cousins and friends who loved her dearly and her loyal dog, Soph, who was her constant companion, always by her side wherever she went.

Shania will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on through her daughter and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A sevice will be held at New Hope Family Worship Center in Espanola, on Thursday April 2, at 6:30 pm
