Shannon Marie Allen, age 51 of Columbus Township, passed away on May 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 7, 1973 in Port Huron. She married Christopher M. Allen on June 19, 1999 in Port Huron.
Shannon graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1991. She received her master's degree from Walsh College, she also attended Michigan State University and St. Clair County Community College. She was in the career development profession. Shannon was a wife of one, a mother of two but a friend to everyone. She loved riding horses and being outdoors in nature. But most importantly she loved her family more than anything. She had a light in her soul that could light up a room, just by stepping in. Whenever you saw her, you were guaranteed to see a smile that could make anyone's day instantly better. She had an unwavering positivity that could not be flipped under any circumstance. She could become friends with someone from one simple elevator ride or stopping for a coffee. Her superpower was being kind to everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher, son, Jackson Allen and daughter, Ella Allen, her mother, Marie "Kay" Lehvonen, siblings; Chad (Tracey) Noetzel, Tracey (Marc) Gardner, Nate Noetzel, Ben Roth and Heather Benedetto, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chris and Sue Allen, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Shannon (Ryan) Carter, Josh (Trisha) Allen and Spencer (Liane) Allen, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Charles Noetzel.
