Shane is survived by his fiancé, Christine Blakney, two sons, Shane Broadway and Travis Broadway, Christine's four children whom he treated as his own, Thimothy Blankney, Kenly Blankney, Shamas "Lewis" Blakney and Matthew Ryan Blankney, a granddaughter, Sophia Broadway, his mother, Bonnie and step-father John, a brother, Kevin Broadway and his wife Dawn, step-brothers, Daniel and John Jr., a step sister, Rebecca, a niece, Lacy Broadway, two nephews, Jonathan Braodway and Jonathan Slayton and a special friend, Renee.

Shane was a true outdoorsman who found peace and happiness in God's creation. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature, where he felt closest to the Lord.

A devoted and Godly man, Shane's life was a reflection of his strong faith and kind heart. He enjoyed nothing more than being with his family, whether sharing laughter, making memories, or simply enjoying each other's company. His family was his greatest joy and the center of his life.

A private family service was held.
