Shannon Norton Obituary
Shannon was a free spirit and was always laughing; she had a song in her heart. Shannon enjoyed quilting, pilates, and recycling. She always wanted to do things herself so she could learn new tasks. Shannon never shied away from hard work and made friends everywhere she went. She loved collecting random things such as old keys and buttons. Shannon loved the Lord and her kids with such a big heart.
Shannon is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Norton; her grandparents, Bill Norton, Blanche Martinez; her aunt, Jenne Woods; and her uncle, Terry Whitley.
Shannon is survived by her son, Sabastian "Boogie" Curtner; daughter, Phoenix Berden; mother, Lori Norton; brother, Benjamin Norton; and her aunts; Catherine Whitley and Susan DeMilio.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Wilcox Family Funeral Home Chapel in Greenbrier, at 11:00am on Monday, December 5, 2022, with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
A special thanks to Magdalene Serenity House in Fayetteville for taking such good care of Shannon.

Thank you for holding my hand when I was afraid without making it weird then walking me all the way down the parkway before standing in line for almost an hour trying to get me an orange hi c before they took us to the wrong hospital. those who know if you know you know. I miss our marionette puppets. I see you in dreams lately. I imagine you being reluctant to leave for the next stop without me. I saw a likeness of you in my room a handful of times. Was it you or my imagination? I miss you I'm sorry I didn't get around to wishing you a happy birthday. The first time in all of our years I didn't get around to it and it was your last. I've always been one to bat 1000 you know that. Sorry means I'll never do it again just like you said it does. See you soon.
