In Loving Memory of Shannon Leanne Sigman of Milliken, Colorado.

Shannon Leanne Sigman of Milliken, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was born in Littleton, Colorado, to her parents Russell Peterson and Ann Peterson.

Shannon was full of life, with an imagination that could transport you anywhere. Her love for music and storytelling created a special bond with her nephew Mason and grandson Hudson-relationships she cherished deeply.

Her passion for horses was unmatched. Her face would light up anytime she was at the barn, brushing and playing with them. Shannon adored her children and took immense pride in watching them grow and thrive. She was especially proud of Haylee, who inherited her love for horses and learned to drive Percherons. Watching Haylee marry Andrew-whom Shannon loved like a son-and welcome their son Hudson brought her immeasurable joy.

Hudson was her shining star. She loved making up songs, reading stories, and playing with animals and monster trucks with him. There wasn't a day she didn't laugh or smile because of him.

She also treasured her time with Charlie, cherishing their hugs and conversations. She loved hearing about his passion for trucks-even the ones too tall for anyone to climb into-and beamed with pride watching his natural talent shine on the football field.

Shannon touched countless lives with her radiant smile, boundless kindness, and the love she shared so freely.

She is survived by her children: Haylee Moffitt (Andrew Moffitt) and her beloved grandson Hudson of Castle Rock. Charlie Sigman of Dacono. She is also survived by her parents: Ann Peterson of Milliken, Russ Peterson (Sandy Akers-Peterson) of Frederick; her sister Amy Peterson; and her nephew Mason Peterson of Milliken-along with a large and loving extended family.
