Shannon Renee Spence, age 41, passed away on August 9, 2025 in Denton, Texas. She was born on January 2, 1984, in Dallas, Texas, to Ronald Wayne Crowell and Donna Frances (McRight) Crowell. On September 18, 2010, Shannon married Jeffrey Warden Spence. She worked as a tax accountant and was known for her dedication and care in her profession. Shannon loved cheering for the Texas Rangers and the OU Sooners, and she will always be remembered for making the best zuppa Toscana, gumbo, and stew. She leaves behind cherished memories with her husband, Jeffrey Warden Spence; parents, Ron and Donna Crowell; son, Samuel Warden Spence; daughter, Ellie Josephine Spence; stepson, Jeffrey Warden Spence; stepdaughter, Bailey Diane Spence; and brothers, Brad Crowell and wife Chrissy, and Timothy Crowell. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn. Family hour will be from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home.
