In Loving Memory of Sharlene "Magoo" Scieneaux

November 30, 1965 – August 10, 2025

Sharlene Scieneaux, a radiant soul and beloved resident of Killeen, Texas, entered eternal rest on August 10, 2025. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 30, 1965, Sharlene spent her primary years in St. James Parish. In her preadolescence, she relocated to Abend, Louisiana, where she continued her upbringing into early adulthood. She later established residence in Killeen, Texas, where she remained until her untimely passing, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and joy.

Known for her fun-loving spirit and charismatic presence, Sharlene lit up every room she entered. To know her was to love her.

She is survived by her brother, Curtis Scieneaux; and her sisters, Darlene Scieneaux and Anna Joshua, who shared momentous chapters of her life. She also leaves behind her cherished sons, Carvell and Christopher Scieneaux, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who were blessed by her laughter and love.

Sharlene was preceded in death by her parents, the late Curtis Scieneaux Sr. and Irene Scieneaux, and her grandson, Jermaine James.
