Sharman Michelle (Lane) Heller passed away on August 21, 2025 after a long hospital stay. She was a fighter and, despite her circumstances, kept her kind and beautiful spirit to the end.
Sharman was born on June 29, 1954 in Cherry Point, North Carolina to the late Don, Sr and Rita Brizendine. She was preceded in death by her sister, Wendy Currin and brother, Don Brizendine, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Gayle Van Esler (Wesley). She was blessed with niece, Maui Crawford (Eric), nephews, Don Brizendine, III (Michelle), Clinton Brizendine, Quanah Hopps (Jolene), Seneca Hopps, and Ryan Van Esler (Jessica). She also leaves behind her beloved mother and father-in-law, Mary and Russell Heller, two brothers-in-law, Roger Heller (Renee), Jim Heller (Jennifer), sister-in-law, Deann Turner and several nieces and nephews.
Sharman graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1972 and briefly attended Louisiana Tech. She married the love of her life (Russell) David Heller in 1983 and they celebrated 42 years of marriage together in May 2025. They have two sons, Michael and Dustin, who were the pride and joy. Later, two grandchildren, Kyle and Cloie, were born and she became a Nana! They were the light of her life and kept her young, She was very proud of her family and her world centered around them all.
Along with the responsibility of helping to raise two active kids, she was a talented seamstress who maintained a small online business called Abbey Road. Many will also remember Sharman from Red Lobster where she was a server for twelve years.
Sharman was always the "quiet" one, not easy to anger and never unkind, but could be depended on to say what she meant. She had private ambitions and dreams, followed current events, and was passionate in her beliefs. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren, always remaining loyal and protective of them. Sharman was lovely, smart, creative, and talented; a quiet presence that will leave a huge empty space in the hearts of all who loved her so much.
No viewing will be held but a celebration of life will be held at Harvey's Chapel in Hot Springs (date and time to be determined).
