Sharnelle Tanisha Olivia Fletcher born on January 24. 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky. Sharnelle departed from her earthly home on September 4, 2025. Sharnelle accepted Christ at a young age at Embry Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and remained a member until her passing.

Sharnelle was a 2007 honor graduate of John Hardin High school, where she was recognized for her achievements in academics and performances in band. Sharnelle competed in numerous band competitions playing in the band and participating in the color guard. Sharnelle was a beautiful, vibrant, and extremely intelligent young lady who loved her family and friends. Affectionately known for her kind and generous spirit, she was also known for expertise in being a make-up artist (MUA).

She loved to travel, especially to South America where she grew to love and cherish the exquisite food, language, the people, and the culture. Sharnelle was fluent in Spanish and often translated the Spanish language to English for those that needed assistance.

Sharnelle was proceeded in death by her great grandparents Arthur and Hattie Johnson. Sharnelle leaves to cherish her beloved mother Tammie Smith, grandparents Martha (John) Dinwiddie and grandfather James Fletcher. One adorable "cat" that she loved dearly Emerald Fletcher. Also, Sharnelle leaves to cherish her memories two beautiful sisters Adriana Vargas andZietta Smith. Three loving aunts Jennifer Banks, Pamela Johnson, and Michelle Fletcher and one uncle James Fletcher Jr. Two great aunts Thelma Jones, and Ruth Osborn. Sharnelle leaves to honor her memories, five cousins with whom were raised like siblings Chavon Davis, Trevante' Fletcher, Tre'von Johnson, Te'Zhan Fletcher and Janiya Banks. One niece LaShae Graham and one nephew Lamonte Vargas and a host of cousins, extended, family and friends that will miss her greatly.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Embry Chapel A.M.E. Church, 401 Skyline Drive, Elizabethtown. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Visitation after 6:00 p.m. Friday at Percell & Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
