86 year old, Sharon Armstrong, of Wheatfield, passed away November 27, 2022.
On March 17, 1936, Sharon was born in Cedar Springs, Michigan, to Newton and Elsie (Harper) Clark-Wade. Sharon worked for the Kankakee Valley School Corporation as a sweeper at the high school. Sharon enjoyed her garden and flower beds. She also liked her chickens and sheep. In her free time, she liked to knit, crochet, and make doilies. She was a great seamstress, and chef. Sharon also liked to can.
Sharon is survived by her three children: John Jr., Robin, and Jeffrey, siblings: Betty, Bill, Dennis, numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband: John Sr., infant son: William Daryl, siblings: Larry, Herb, and Patricia.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Boersma Funeral Home, Wheatfield, Indiana.
Services for Sharon will take place at the funeral home, on Saturday, December 3, 3022, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Patterson officiating, interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kniman United Methodist Church – Share the Warmth Fund.
