SHARON BODNER (nee Murphy) age 86
Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Carrie Snover (Paul), Ann Bodner (Matt Capadona) and Mary Kaleal (Ron). Devoted grandmother of Ronald Vitale (Patti), Anthony Vitale (Katey), Valerie Mates (John), Michael Macharoni (Angel), Brittany Strong (Cody), Kevin Snover, Ronald Kaleal (Brittany), Sarah Kaleal and David Kaleal. Great grandmother of eight. Cherished aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was the youngest of five children. She was born in a coal mining region of West Virginia. Early on, she learned the values of compassion, respect, and love of family, and she carried those values with her throughout her entire life.
She lived a simple and meaningful life with her husband, George. Married for 62 years, they never needed much, only to be surrounded by and to care for the people they loved.
Her passion and dedication to her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends was constant, truly all-encompassing and without parallel.
Each of us will carry a piece of her love with us always, as we move forward in our own lives. Sharon may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. Her presence and her love will live on in our hearts, forever enduring.
