Sharon was born on June 9, 1938, in Anoka, Minnesota to Raymond and Alice (Hall) Micheau. She graduated from Anoka High School. She married Dennis L. Bolin on March 2, 1957. Sharon was a member of Woman's Air Corp. and worked multiple jobs, primarily in restaurants. Later in life she enjoyed working as a cook at Camp Birchwood on Steamboat Lake. Sharon and Dennis raised six children together in central Minnesota and Missoula Montana. Sharon and Dennis retired and moved to Lake Kabekona in LaPorte, Minnesota. Sharon enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and spending time with family and friends, perhaps with a glass of wine. Sharon was very kindhearted and had a great sense of humor.

Sharon is survived by sons Michael Bolin (Melony Pederson) and Daniel Bolin; daughters Theresa Bolin (Dennis Stenquist), Michelle Damon (Bill) and Tammy Hawkins; daughter-in-law Mary Boesen Bolin, brother Huey Micheau (Vicki Velisek); grandchildren Andrea Flan (Jamie), Daniel Hermanson (Sarah Anderson), Cami Bolin, Sarah Bolin, Jerry Bolin (Molly), Randi Thoms (AJ), Tricia Bolin, JD Shantle (Katie), Cody Bredeson, Stephanie Peterson, Jason Hawkins; great-grandchildren Connor Flan, Evan Flan, Brielle Flan, Aubrey Hermanson, Jackson Thoms, Brodie Thoms, Maverick Thoms, Declan Bolin, Walker Bolin, Brantley Shantle, Cora Shantle, Brandon Holmers, Camden Ross and Faith Ross.

Sharon was proceeded in death by her husband Dennis on July 10, 2005; parents Raymond and Alice Micheau; brother David Micheau; son Timothy Bolin; son-in-law Daniel Hawkins; granddaughter Miranda Ann Mirelos.

Services for Sharon are being held at American Lutheran Church, 215 9th Street SE, Long Prairie, Minnesota on January 7, 2026 at 11 am.
