Sharon K. Constant
July 28, 1937- January 30, 2026
Sharon K. Constant, 88, changed addresses peacefully on January 30, 2026, with family at her side. Send your cards to Heaven where she now sits with Jesus. She was born to Matthew (MJ) and Virginia Constant (nee Hazenfield) in
Milwaukee, WI. She had two brothers, Jack (Brookfield) and Terry (Kenosha) who preceded her in death. Sharon is survived by two children, Penny (Marty) Rukavina of Muskego and Mitch (Chris) Romasko of Waukesha. She leaves behind her beloved granddaughter Ashley (Brooklyn, New York) and Kaylee (her Maltese). She had five nieces and nephews: Cathy (CJ), Dave (Cynthia), Nicole (Ken), Brett, and Amber (Wes). She is further survived by sisters-in-law Arlene (Jack) and Pat (Terry).
Sharon's greatest joy in life was serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was actively involved with Elmbrook Church until she could no longer do so. She loved joining her friends at Seniors' fellowship group on Fridays. Sharon often expressed her gratitude to Dale, Carol, and Spence who were made sure she got to Seniors' group on Fridays.
Sharon's favorite activities were talking on the phone with Ashley listening to her stories of friendship and career. She was Ashley's strongest supporter. She also loved sitting outside under the shade tree with her friends at her Pewaukee condo. She spent hours on the phone with her beloved niece, Amber while Amber climbed the career ladder to become an attorney. She knew Amber would succeed in whatever she did. Amber had her back until the very end reviewing legal documents trying to protect her assets.
Earlier on, she visited nursing homes with her friend Dottie Hoff preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. She also volunteered for the ADRC assisting older adults with transportation and financial matters. She volunteered for Heart Fire Ministries where she was involved in Outreach to Inner City communities.
Sharon retired from Strattec Corportation (a branch of Briggs and Stratton) where she was affectionately referred to as "the Church Lady."
The family extends heartfelt thanks Teresa Parker, Katie Laflin, and Kam O'Dell who made her final year memorable. She always smiled when she saw these special ladies.
Sharon was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2021. This disease is said to be "the long good-bye" affecting 7.1 million adults over the age of 65 (up from 5.1 million in 2015). By 2050, the number of people age 65 and older may nearly triple. (alzsd.org) Please visit the Alzheimer's Association of Wisconsin (alz.org/wi) and be a part of the fight to end Alzheimer's.
God poured His grace out to Sharon keeping her content until the very end just as the apostle Paul. I Philippians 4:11-13, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content." She laughed over nothing with her caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at ELMBROOK CHURCH, 777 S. Barker Rd.
Brookfield, WI 53045 from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 PM.
