Sharon G. "Sherry" Donnelly, 74, of Wampum passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Heritage Valley Beaver following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 5, 1951, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Violet L. (Houk) Tillia.
Sherry worked several jobs in her life. She was a beautician, but her longest career was as Quality Assurance and Billing Manager for Hill Railcar from where she retired after 30yrs of service. She was well known and respected in the Railroad Industry. Sherry graduated from New Castle Beauty Academy and was an active founding member of the Independent Methodist Church where she enjoyed participating in weekly Bible study. She also used her skills participating in the Prayer Shawl Ministry where she created gifts of comfort and love with prayer. Above all, she cherished time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas M. Donnelly of Columbus, OH and Shane W. (Lorie) Donnelly of Big Beaver Twp; three grandchildren; Demiah, Shane Jr, and Tommy; sister-in-law, Phyllis T. Tillia and niece, Lori Tillia-Meeker both of Chewton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Ken Tillia.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday October 9, 2025, from 4 to 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, on Friday October 10, 2025, at 11 am with her pastor Rev. Frederick Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
