Benjamin Panella Jr, of Wampum, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025.
Ben was born May 23, 1943 to the late Benjamin and Ann Panella (Paolini).
He is survived by Sister Patricia Smail (Ed), Brother James Caruso, daughters Billie Jo Wyant (Michael) and Robin Luffman (Ransom), companion Donna McConnell, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Ben, a man of few words, but shared a life of great stories and memories not to be forgotten. If you didn’t find Ben elbow deep in the garage working on his latest project, he would be on his Harley. The sun to his back, just enjoying the ride with no destination in mind. Ben also enjoyed testing his luck at the casino.
When the weather was fair, and you couldn’t reach him, Ben could be found flying his helicopter or small airplane, sometimes surprising his grandson and great grandsons by landing in their yard unexpectedly.
While the sudden loss of a great man, friend, companion, father, grandfather is never easy; I hope you can find some peace in the hope that Ben is once again doing what he loved. Flying above us all, a big smile on his face, his laugh echoing in his chest.
Honoring Ben’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home.
