Sharon Sue Duffy

Sharon Sue Duffy, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the home of her daughter in North Port, Florida.
Sharon was born on June 3, 1939, to the late Ernest and Bernice Killion in Vincennes, Indiana. Sharon retired as a housekeeper from Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Sharon had three passions in life: husband, James; her daughters and grandkids; and playing bingo. She and James were divorced in 1972 after 13 years of marriage, but to the surprise and delight of their three daughters, the couple reunited 43 years later and recently celebrated another 10 years of marriage.
Surviving Sharon are husband James Duffy of Port Charlotte, Florida; daughters Tamara (Jim) Oliver of North Port, Florida; Pamela McClain of Evansville, Indiana; and Kathy (Greg) Moore of Arcadia, Florida; grandchildren Scott (Sarah) Lamb; Timothy (Heather) Lamb; Richard Lamb; Kimberly (Elliot) Cantu; Jennifer Williams; James (Kimber) Williams; great grandchildren Evan Lamb; Ethan Lamb; Dawson Lamb; Roxanne Lamb; Brady Lamb; Ellianna Williams; Enzo Williams; Lily Meyer and Uriah Meyer; sisters Patty Lagrone, Ruthie Killion and Penny (Denny) Flowers; and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Eloise, Buck, June, Charlotte, Nancy, Rosie and Bob.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory, and final resting place at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
