With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Sharon Fox. She was loved by all who were lucky enough to have known her. Sharon departed this life on August 21, 2025, and although she will be deeply missed, we are grateful she is in a better place.
Born in 1949, to parents, Bill and Jean, who both proceeded her in death, Sharon was an only child. In 1969, Tom Fox won the lottery when he convinced Sharon to be his bride. During their more than 56 year marriage, they were blessed with three children and one grandchild.
Sharon spent her life raising a family and working at local banks over the years. She was also a trained beautician, operated a photography business with her husband and was a talented singer. She shared her beautiful voice singing in church or serenading her family in the car. Sharon was also the queen of decorating for every occasion and season. Birthdays and holidays were made even more special by her thoughtful and loving gestures.
Though Sharon's body began to fail her, she never lost her loving spirit which lives on in those she has touched. She is survived by her husband, Tom, and two sons, Matt (Katie) and Chris (Tracy) and daughter, Kim and grandson, Logan. A private family graveside service is planned. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at a future date. Check back for more details. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Shriners Hospital or Ripley Crossing, where Sharon spent the last few months of her life.
