Sharon Gartner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Givnish Funeral Home - Cinnaminson on Nov. 21, 2022.
Sharon Gartner (nee Crock), of Palmyra, NJ, passed away on November 18, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late William and Anna (nee Gardner) Crock, she was 77 years old.
Sharon was the beloved wife of the late John J. Gartner, whom she is finally reunited with after 25 years; cherished mother of Sharon Mullan and her husband Larry; loving Mommom of Jessica Bewley (husband Dave), and Sean Mullan (wife Jennifer); great grandmother "GG" of Olivia Mullan; and dear sister of Edwin Stumpf. Sharon was predeceased by her siblings Albert Stumpf, William Stumpf, and Peggy Flynn. She will be greatly missed by her shih tzu, Bella.
Sharon's family truly lost their matriarch. If you knew Sharon, you knew that family was absolutely everything to her. Her grandchildren have fond, vivid memories of sleepovers, beach trips, and do-it-yourself sundaes at Mommom's. Her creativity shined in so any ways: she styled Jessica's hair for every prom, homecoming, and her wedding. Sean, an avid skateboarder, even had her paint his skate deck! Sharon created beautiful wreaths and bouquets, and even helped bake Jessica's wedding cake. She made the best soup, and frequently shared it with friends and neighbors as she could not make just a little! When Olivia was born last July, so was GG! She enjoyed reading to her and dancing with her!
She was ever-present for her family, and taught them life skills they will never take for granted. Her family knows Mommom and Poppop are looking down on them, blessing them every day.
The family would greatly appreciate donations in memory of Sharon be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity she donated to for 25 years. Please visit www.StJude.org.
