Sharon Graham Obituary

Sharon Graham, a devoted Catholic and beloved sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and radiant light touched the hearts of everyone who knew her - from lifelong friends to the doctors and nurses who cared for her with admiration and love.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Sharon moved to Kentucky in 1999, where she became a deeply cherished member of the community and a devoted parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church, where she was active in promoting vocations and living out her faith with quiet strength and joy. Her belief in miracles never wavered, and her spiritual devotion was evident in every aspect of her life. Sharon found joy in life's simple pleasures - a cold Coke, a good cheese burger, and a side of french fries were among her favorites. But most of all, her secret recipe of her blueberry muffins which she shared with the Vocation Committee, Church activities, family and friends. She found peace doing her diamond paintings and knitting beautiful afghan blankets. Sharon felt so blessed to have Father Matt beside her during her entire illness calling him her saving grace and the many friends and people who prayed for her with so much love and hope. But more than that, it was her warmth, kindness, and the unbelievable light within her that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her sister Pat shared that "my baby sister was the sweetest, most gentle person she had ever known and she will miss Sharon more than anyone will ever know." Linda remembered how she and Sharon would play with their Barbie and Midge dolls under their big oak tree at their house in New Jersey when growing up and playing hide and seek and singing and dancing or playing baseball in the street with the neighbors, laughing and having fun. Linda has said many times that Sharon was her best friend in the whole world and her heart holds on to the truth that they will be together one day in heaven.

At 3:00PM, Sharon had a total devotion to the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Eucharistic Adoration and the Holy Rosary, as she and Linda prayed faithfully together each day with EWTN. As she became more ill, she could only listen as Linda prayed for her. If someone asked Sharon to pray for them, she would add them to her long list and during this Holy Hour she would lift each person up in prayer. Sharon also had a devotion to the Holy Souls in Purgatory. She read and prayed for them daily. Linda stated that when Sharon gets to heaven, all of those holy souls Sharon prayed for will be ready to hug her with a love that we cannot comprehend. Her Patron Saint was St. Padre Pio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Graham and Lois Graham, and her brother-in-laws, Joe Estwin and Jim Jefferson. She is survived by her loving and devoted sisters, Pat Estwin and Linda Jefferson, who cared for her tenderly until her final breath. She is also survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer and her husband Pablo, grandchildren Antonio and Ava and great grandchild Noah, treasured nephews, Michael and his wife Rosa and Joseph and his wife Melissa, children Noah and Chloe, and her very close loving friends Barb Gaddis and Betty Bratovich. Sharon's life was a testament to faith, love, and grace. Her family and friends take comfort in the mercy of God with hopes she is at peace embraced by the arms of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Divine Mercy Shrine, the Rosary Center, the Padre Pio Foundation of America, or St. Jude's - all causes close to Sharon's heart
