Mitchael Wade Obituary

Mitchael Wade, born November 21, 1951, in Independence, Kentucky, passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved son of Eugene and Geneva Smith Wade, who preceded him in death.

Mitchael proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to spend most of his working years as a dedicated production supervisor. His life was marked by a deep love for Jesus, an infectious sense of humor, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

For 35 wonderful years, Mitchael was the cherished husband of Hazel Diane Thomas Wade. Together, they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and unwavering support. He is survived by his children: Christopher M. Wade, Janson M. Wade (Tammy), Donnie J. Thomas (Autumn), and Justin C. Wade (Jeanette). He was preceded in death by his sons, Bronson E. Wade and Mitchael Wade II, who he now joins in eternal peace.

Mitchael is also survived by his siblings, Lance W. Wade (Lori) and Lora J. Wade Crouch (Ron) and was preceded in death by his brother William L. Wade.

He leaves behind a legacy through his many grandchildren: Michael Boyce (Miranda), Damon Wade, Destiny Wade (Cody), Maylassia Wade, Hunter Wade (Makayla), Brennen Rogers, Christopher Wickey, Drexel Wade, Alexya Rogers, Layna Thomas, Adam Wickey, Shelby Wickey, Sebastian Wade, and Madison Wade. His joy continued with his four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and a special great-nephew lovingly known as "Hey You!" (James Crouch).

Mitchael never met a stranger. He was a storyteller, a jokester, and the kind of man who could brighten any room with just a smile and a quick-witted quip. He found peace rocking on his front porch, sharing stories with loved ones, and chatting with his hummingbird friend, Chester.

His life was full-of love, of joy, and of moments that will be cherished by all who knew him. Mitchael's presence was a blessing, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him deeply.

Visitation will be held at Grand Avenue Church of God, 648 Grand Ave, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 10am-12pm. Service will begin at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow in Independence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Grand Avenue Church of God at the address above or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
