Sharon Maxine Hess (Davis), age 75, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 16, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and follower of Christ, she will be remembered for her kind heart, strong spirit, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

Born on May 12, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, to Rose Marie and William John Davis, Sharon grew up alongside her siblings, Darlene and Michael Davis. She attended Eastern High School and later married her beloved husband and high school sweetheart, Don Hess. Together, they built a life of cherished memories filled with love and family.

Her greatest joy was found in being a homemaker and caring for her family. She had many passions, including gardening, cooking, photography, and spending weekends exploring yard sales. Sharon especially loved creating memories in the kitchen and tending to her plants with care.

She was a faithful member of Mount Hope Church, where she lived out her devotion to Christ through love, kindness, and service to others.

She is survived by her sister Darlene Davis; her children Michelle Simmons (Brent Isbell), Sarah (Corey) Emens, and Stephanie (Shedrick) Lee; as well as her grandchildren Tiffani (Derrik) Cotton, Hailey (Sean) Dollman-Jersey, Kahley (Hunter) Crawford, Morgan (Kory) Slaby, Kennedy Wright (Kris), Ren Emens, Brandee (Gaby) Lee Pinales, and Netanya Lee (Freddie). She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Marie and William John Davis; her husband, Don Hess; the father of her children, Michael Mackenzie; her brother, Michael Davis, and her cherished companion and fierce protector, her four-legged friend Indy, along with many other beloved pets who will greet her in heaven.

Her life was one of devotion to her faith, her family, her home, and the simple joys that brought happiness to those around her. Sharon will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
