Sharon Jackson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DuPage Cremations, Ltd. and Memorial Chapel on Jan. 5, 2026.
Sharon Lee Jackson peacefully entered her eternal rest in North Aurora on the evening of Christmas Day, 2025. She was attended by her children.
The eldest of three siblings, Sharon was born in Oak Park to Sherwood J. and Hertha M. (Finkbeiner) Jackson. She attended Proviso High School, where she excelled in Latin and graduated a year early in 1960. She eloped with her high school sweetheart, Wayne A. Treadwell, in 1962. They went on to have seven children, ful lling her dream of having a large family.
She was a member of the rst graduating con rmation class at Faith Lutheran Church in Bellwood (now located in Westchester), and was a lifelong, faithful Lutheran.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa (Michael) and Cheryl (Dusk); sons James, Brian, Christopher (Tomomi), Jason, and Je rey; grandchildren Kaitlin (Jayce), Zachary, Nicholas, Michaela (Christopher), James Jr., Sara (Carter), Taylor, Elijah, Brayden, and Ryunosuke; great-grandchildren Evelyn and Isla; brothers Sherwood and James; cousins Barbara and Lynn; and her beloved cat Gus.
In the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection, a committal service will be held at Concordia Cemetery on Friday, January 16, at 11:00am.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside
the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy sta they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
