Gregory Mokrzycki Obituary
Greg will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best buddy, Helen; his parents, James and Sylvia Mokrzycki; his sisters, Cynthia (George) Thomas, Melissa (Eric) Hoffman and Kristina Mokrzycki; and numerous other family members and friends.
Greg graduated from Hubbard High School in Chicago and worked for UPS for more than 30 years. He and Helen enjoyed their many weekend day trips and adventures together.
He adored many pets throughout his life, and his two cats were a great comfort to him during his illness. He had a gift for making people laugh, and everyone he met wanted to be his friend. The family will always cherish their memories of him playing Santa from various countries around the world each Christmas.
There will be a private service for the family, and a celebration of his life is planned in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Greg's name may be made to TNR Cats in Action (catsinaction.org) or the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).

We will so very much miss Greg; his sense of humor, his energy, his unmatched generosity, his love of his kitties and his wife; his love of life. Then there's his love of pizza! Or at least his willingness to hit every pizza establishment within 30 miles whenever we came to visit. Visits were non-stop eating and entertainment and fun. We are so very sorry to lose Greg.

My dear brother,
I love you more than words can say.
Your bravery and strength amazed me and your heart humbled us all. I´m so grateful to be your sister and so proud that you are my brother.
You saved me once when we were kids (you know the story) - you saved me again watching your courage through all of this. I am forever changed. You are and will always be my hero.
