Sharon Jackson

Sharon Elaine Jackson, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home on January 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her husband Ken and their two dogs, Panda and Aku.

Sharon was born on February 28, 1944, in Muskegon, Michigan, and moved to Tucson in January, 1963. Her work life included twenty years with Bombardier/Learjet as an interior craftsman for aircraft, a career of which she was proud.

She never knew a stranger and she loved people. Some of Sharon' favorite things were a love of dancing, talking to people, people watching, trips to Las Vegas for playing the slots and enjoying the fine dining, cooking for and feeding family and friends. She delighted in having friends stop by for a visit. Having fun was of major importance to Sharon. She liked to have fun, she wanted people to have fun and wanted life to be fun.

Sharon would want to be remembered for her gruff exterior but with a "marshmallow" center as well as her stubbornness and straight-talking-no-nonsense honesty that she would dispense whenever asked.

She lived a full life, but above all, Sharon was proudest of her family. She is survived by her husband Ken, son Charles "Chuck" Veitheinheimer and his wife Shawna, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two stepsons, four step-grandchildren, and on step-great-grandchild.

Sharon had a huge soft spot for furry and feathered friends. She enjoyed feeding wildlife in her and Ken's yard and on numerous camping trips. In honor of her, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter.
