Sharon Kelly, 80, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her home. Sharon had resided in Fall Branch for the past 18 years; she had previously lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. She had worked and retired as a payroll manager for major casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada and locally for United Coal. Sharon was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church. Sharon loved to cook, make blanket throws and spend time with her family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Edna Kelly; and sister, Shelia Hawkins.
Survivors include her husband, Sonny Bakeman; daughter, Dawn Marie Lykins; grandson, Jarl Colwell III and wife, Jaime; brother, Ray Kelly and wife, Jane; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rhonda Hobbs officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shades of Grace, 313 E. Sullivan St., Kingsport, TN 37660.
