Sharon Langley Lanthier

Sharon Langley Lanthier was born January 17, 1950, and passed away March 11, 2026, at the age of 76.
Sharon was a member of the Carmelites in the Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, and traveling. She enjoyed going to thrift stores and flea markets to find unique antiques. Most of all, Sharon loved her family.
She was a devoted mother to her children. She was the co-owner of a ceramic shop, The Family Slip Pit, that she took great pride in. Sharon's life was a testament of love and family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Carriere; sons, Jason Lanthier and wife Katie, Cory Lanthier and wife Connie, and Daniel Lanthier; siblings, Charles Langley and wife Crystal, and Windola Cowart, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dennis Lanthier; parents, Wilfred Langley and Mary Shirley Delahoussaye Langley; siblings, Roland Langley, Carl Langley, Rose McKissack, and Helena Blanchette.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2026, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, Sulphur, Louisiana. Father Ron Foshage will be officiating. Interment to follow at Big Woods Cemetery, Vinton, Louisiana.
