Francine S. Moak

Francine S. Moak was born August 3, 1947, and passed away March 9, 2026, at the age of 78.
She will be remembered as a friendly, loving, and outgoing woman who brought warmth to everyone she met. Her strong and stubborn spirit was part of what made her so special, and those who knew her admired her determination and personality. She enjoyed the simple things in life, especially shopping for purses and spending time crabbing, which brought her great joy. These moments created many happy memories for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband, Prentiss Moak; daughters, Tina Moak and Cheri Vincent and husband James; grandchildren, Brittany, James Michael, Alexis, and Bradley; 6 great grandchildren; and siblings, Carmelita Samson, Rudolph Samson, and Alfredo Ordas.
She is preceded in death by her son, Brad Moak; father, EmiLiano Samson; mother, Mercedes Ordas; and sisters, Nancy Ordas and Jean Samson.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Bro. Mike Streams will be officiating.
