Sharon B Linskens

Linskens, Sharon B. of East Troy found eternal life Thursday June 29,2023 at Angel's Grace Hospice surrounded by her loving sons. She was 93 yrs. old. She was born November 28,1929 in Milwaukee to Peter and Vera Seter (nee Nichols), both deceased. Sharon married the love of her life Thomas A Linskens in Wauwatosa at St. Jude's Catholic Church on January 11, 1958. She graduated from Shorewood High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Wisconsin State College (presently UW Milwaukee). She taught for many years (elementary education) in the Milwaukee area. She also worked in the retail industry.
Sharon was a musician, played the violin, and other instruments. Sharon & her husband Tom played in a band called the Music Makers for about 2 decades. Nursing home residents greatly enjoyed their music and they were very popular in their time. She also was a prolific writer, wrote many short stories & poems, and was in many writing groups Sharon is preceded in death by her husband and her brother Bruce. She is survived by sons Scott (Ann) of New Berlin and John of East Troy. Granddaughter is Rachel. Her brother (Miles Seter) of Punta Gorda, Florida & her sister in law (Helga Seter) of Iowa City, Iowa. She is survived by nieces, nephews, family members, & other loving friends. Sharon was a very kind and loving person & will be greatly missed by her family & friends.A Memorial celebration will be held at the Legacy Funeral Services (2974 Main St. East Troy, WI) Monday July 10,2023 at 6PM, visitation will begin at 4pm until service. The family wishes to thank St. Croix hospice and Pro-Health Care Home Care and Hospice for the excellent care she received. Legacy Funeral Services, East Troy has the honor of serving the family.
