Sharon Louise Matthew, age 85, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Daphne, Alabama. She was born on October 8, 1939, in Central Lake, Michigan to Carroll A. James and Wanetta Mae (Harrington) James. She was an avid decorator and organizer who took pride in her home. She studied the scriptures and loved the Lord and her family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Carroll A. James, her mother, Wanetta Mae (Harrington) James and her brothers, Ronald Alva James and Richard Carroll James. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Jamie Karol (Keith Eugene) Sutton of Kalkaska, Michigan and Tonya Kay Harrington of Spanish Fort, Alabama; her grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Matthew (Tricia), Richard James Waters and Matthew Connor Harrington (Alison Nicole Walker); and great grandchildren (Rose, Devin) and Draven Matthew.
A memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church, 8066 W State St., Central Lake, MI 49622, on March 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake, Michigan.
