Sharron attended Joliet Central High School and graduated in 1978. She worked as a CNA, Bus Monitor at First Student, and as a Housekeeper at several hotels.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene McCann and Dave Curry; six brothers, Franklin McCann, Tyrell McCann, Dave Curry Jr., Steven Ellis, Craig Ellis, and Jerry Curry; four sisters, Sandrea Ellis, Betty Clark, Lilly Gregory, and Janet Curry; one niece, Katrina Ellis; and two nephews, Joseph Ellis and Michael Morgan.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Jermaine McCann Sr.; two daughters, Octavia McCann and Takina McCann, all of Joliet, Illinois; three brothers, Dwayne McCann, Jerome McCann, and Cedric McCann, all of Joliet, Illinois; one uncle, J.C. McCann of Louisiana; grandchildren, Jermaine McCann Jr., Jhe'rell McCann, Malakia McCann, and Brielle Cole; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
